Michelle Tarbox, MD

Dr. Tarbox graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine at the top of her class. She then completed her Dermatology Residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. During her senior year in residency, Michelle successfully applied for a WDS Mentorship Grant and traveled to Sydney, Australia to study dermoscopy with Dr. Scott Menzies. She then completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and went on to work at Saint Louis University, then returned to TTUHSC where she now serves as Chair and Program Director. She has lectured for numerous state, national, and international dermatologic societies and has received numerous teaching awards. She also co-created and co-hosts the Dermasphere Podcast, which now has over 170 episodes and has an average audience size of 3,000-4,000 listeners and over 650,000 individual playthroughs.
